I have worked in a number of settings including CRO, governmental, and academic institutions. I use collaborative strategies that save time, save money, while fostering communication, innovation, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. I advocate and nurture collaborative relationships. With an analytic mind, highly proficient in verbal, written, and e-communications, I refer to soft and hard data to guide my gut in the interpretation and reporting of operational status, and to develop recommendations for initiatives. I supervise the delegated activities necessary for the life cycle of initiatives.

Management of Operations: I use the principles of project management to plan, initiate, monitor, and forecast operational metrics and report performance, with daily reviews to identify emergent constraints on the health of the initiative. I conduct weekly reviews of stakeholder satisfaction, time, cost, quality, and benefits as defined by project requirements to escalate, to report risks, to develop preventive action plans and corrective action plans to mitigate risks, and to propose new strategies for action. I have worked in a highly consultative environment of the Texas state health department and a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) setting where I led meetings to develop and define project requirements, to establish a strategic agenda, to prepare/ defend proposals, to develop project planning and controlling documents, to report metrics to client executives and senior decision-makers, and to lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative fashion. I have conducted literature reviews, developed survey and data collection instruments, as well as have prepared and presented technical papers, operational findings, and program trainings at team and client meetings in all of the aforementioned settings.
