Dr. Marshall is a veterinary epidemiologist experienced in international surveillance and control programs for highly pathogenic avian influenza, risk analysis, epidemic simulation modeling, and transboundary & zoonotic animal diseases. She has published primary research articles in leading veterinary journals and has worked collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams. She is also an experienced veterinary practitioner, primarily in small animal and emergency settings.

Coordinated studies of live bird markets and of domestic ducks for influenza and other avian viruses. Assisted with socioeconomic & risk analysis workshops. Developed project proposals for live bird market sampling, a regional TAD control project, and a domestic community education campaign. Assisted in the preparation of briefing documents for national and international partners.
