Mr Petar ***** has over 20 years experience in the ***** and sustainability fields within government, industry and ***** campaigning. At the Australian Commonwealth Government level he has acted as Manager of a Ministerial Working Group for the Industrial Ecology Unit, Environment Australia, held positions with the Australian Greenhouse Office and a number of positions across the Department of Defence and Department of Primary Industry and Energy in technical and policy areas. His Parliamentary experience also extends as a registered Australian Commonwealth Parliament Lobbyist on ***** and Sustainability matters.

He has represented Australia at the International Standards Organisation SC3 meetings, is a recognised regional expert on sustainable consumption by UNEP and has signed bilateral agreements with the Chinese State ***** Protection Agency - CEC Division, Taiwan EPA and other bilateral agreements with overseas national ***** agencies related to ecolabelling and sustainable consumption. He is a regular speaker at international and national conferences on these topics.

His industry expertise extends to delivering specific ***** audit and advisory services for over 160 different companies both in Australia and internationally, serving companies such as the ANZ bank, Interstuhl, Fuji Xerox, Herman Miller, Armstrong, CSR, Forbo, Kinnarps, Dunlop, Fletcher Building Products, Haworth, Baywest, Paperlinx, SCA, Wattyl and Laminex.

He is currently on the Board of a number of both profit and non-profit companies that have a specific focus on enhancing the commercial and social benefits from leadership on the ***** challenges of our societies. He has in the past been an active participant in the nomination for the Blue Mountains for World Heritage Listing which was achieved in 2001.
