Russell is responsible for business development, client relationship and general management of the Boston Business Unit for Centric Consulting. He brings over twenty years of experience in strategy, process and technology consulting with experiences at Bain & Company, CSC Index, GEN3 Partners and Prophet.

In the late 1980’s, he pioneered the use of process and technology outsourcing as a strategic tool which launched CSC into the outsourcing business. In the mid-90’s he sold and delivered transformation efforts at the James River Paper Co which represented the first successful integration of strategic consulting, systems integration and outsourcing in the industry – a service combination which is now the standard aspiration in the industry.

In the late 90’s, he developed the strategy for integrating consulting services at CSC, creating new areas of practice in digital strategy and operational excellence. In the wake of September 11, 2001, he built and led CSC’s capability to deliver consulting, digital strategies and ERP technology to defense, intelligence and civil agencies with a new mandate to cooperate on behalf of our national security. More recently Russell developed new areas of practice, led business development efforts and delivered high-impact client results at Prophet Brand Strategy and GEN3 Partners.

Throughout his work with clients such as AT&T, General Mills, Textron, Novartis, PPG, General Dynamics, Kraft, Philip Morris, Corning, the NSA, Johnson & Johnson, Chevron, Coors, Emerson, Lockheed Martin, NASA, Zurich Financial, the U.S. Army and others, Brackett has been a pioneer in developing innovative practice to drive extraordinary results.

Russell graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in Geology, earned his MBA with honors from Columbia Business School and is married with four teenage children. He is Chair of the Standing Committee at the First Parish Church in Weston and active in community service and local politics.

We do not place recent college grads at client sites at $100+ per hour for “on the job training”. Instead, we provide teams where every consultant has a history of successful project implementation, and enough experience that they know consulting is the right job for them.

While our growth has been stellar, Centric still seems to fly under the radar. We rely on word of mouth referrals and traditional networking. This works because our consultants live and work in the same city. We do not advertise during the Super Bowl. We do not sponsor PGA players. We do not have a private suite in a stadium or arena. But we have a long list of satisfied, loyal clients and a reputation for delivering value in complex, critical projects. Moreover, we offer performance based pricing. If we do not deliver, our clients do not pay.
