Amer Al Zghool is water and wastewater modelling and design engineer with around 7 years of experience. He has worked on the design of water networks, wastewater networks and stormwater drainage schemes using various software modelling packages. He has gained this experience from working on large, urban, infrastructure projects in Jordan, Yemen, Libya and Syria.

As well as working in consulting companies, Amer spent about 1. 5 years as a design & Technical office engineer in a contracting company in Saudi Arabia. This broadened and his design experience to the appreciation of the problems faced during construction by contractors. He followed up on all stage including redesign, planning and cost estimations for the sewer networks construction projects.

Amer has worked on projects covering a wide range of conditions including creating a GIS data-base for the ancient city of Shibam in Yemen as a basis for the design of sewerage and stormwater system to protect and serve the city. His experience extends to sewerage designs for the modern city of Riyadh and water system design for significant re development of the Central Business District of Tripoli.

Amer has good experience in the computerized hydraulic analysis of water, stormwater and sewerage systems using state of the art software and self developed Excel worksheets. Amer is one of the key team members for the engineering designs and preparation of contract documentation for large water and wastewater projects.
