Responsibility : Review of Traffic Impact Studies, Inviting quotation for Traffic Impact Studies, Traffic Counts and Quotation Analysis.
Traffic control and surface water drainage of many major buildings in the U. A. E. This included several buildings with basement floors and upper levels carparks. Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Specification for the parking areas were also undertaken.
Inviting Consultants to quote for Traffic Impact Study projects, follow up, quotation analysis etc of the several projects.

Review of a few Traffic Impact Studies in Dubai for clients in the construction sector as a part of the consultancy for buildings was undertaken

2003 –. 2004 : Tebodin Middleeast, Dubai U. A. E

Responsibility : Worked as a Civil Engineer in Dubal Liquid Pitch Unloading and Storage Facility. The responsibilities included co-ordination of layout, circulation study and structural design of various steel and concrete structures inside the facility. This included the design of pipe bridge, stair tower 27m high, equipment foundations etc.

Responsibility : Traffic impact study and planning ie. , Trip generation, distribution, analysis of junctions and road sections to find the Level Of Service for several projects. Responsibility : Preliminary study – Rehabilitation of a 105 km long (424 lane kms) dual carriageway from Bu Kidra roundabout to the Oman border including pavement structural analysis using ELMOD 4, overlay design, roughness analysis to find the remaining service life, rutting analysis, determining pavement condition index using PAVER etc. Preliminary design - Responsible for the preliminary design including design of Margham intersection and the U turns. Responsible for obtaining the NOC from services including explaining the project to the various service authorities and follow up.
Final rehabilitation design of Hatta road.
Preliminary study of the 40 km long road (160 lane kms). Included back calculating pavement layer moduli using ELMOD, roughness analysis and remaining service life calculation, future traffic analysis determination including traffic generated from Dubai Investment park, pavement condition survey of each section of the road etc

Responsibility : Planning of the surveys for a major traffic study conducted for Muscat city, organization of data collection sheets as well as compilation of data. Traffic signal design for an intersection in Dubai city Designed multi- storey, ground floor and underground car parks and its surrounding roads for many major buildings in the U. A. E. including designs for the layout, traffic control, surface water drainage and the ramp profiles of the parking areas Liaison with the architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical departments for the building parking projects.

Responsibility : Taught postgraduate degree classes in Road Transport Economics and Management and highway engineering laboratory.
