Calvin ***** , RN joined Magnolia in 2007 and was the Director of Risk Management. He was responsible for coordinating RM visits at prospective and current facilities of CCRRG, reviewing all RM reports and maintaining the overall quality of the RM program. Mr. ***** was an additional liaison between underwriting and Members, co-chairs the Claims Committee, and developed continuing education programs for CCRRG’s Members. Now consults for attorneys and various long term care clients and is Director of Risk Management for company in Northern CA that has several CCRC’s.
Mr. ***** is a Registered Nurse with over 28 years of experience. In addition to being a Registered Nurse, Mr. ***** also carries the designation of Certified Assisted Living Nurse (C-AL). He worked at Summit Medical Center of Oakland in Nursing Administration, Staffing, and Admissions and for the past 21 years operated a 44 bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly in Napa, CA that was dedicated to serving the needs of those with Dementia.
Mr. ***** is very active in the Assisted Living industry. He was a member of the Little Hoover Advisory Commission on Long Term Care and has consulted for various attorneys and organizations on issues facing Resident Care. He is the Assistant Executive Director/CFO for the American Assisted Living Nurses Association (AALNA) and the President of California Assisted Living Network (CALN) an association of Owners, Operators, and Professionals concerned with senior issues in the State of California.
