Originated CMBS/Conduit and Structured Finance transactions for the South Florida region from: 1) the bank’s franchise throughout its South Florida footprint; 2) direct borrowers/principals located throughout the country; and 3) the national third-party mortgage and real estate brokerage markets.
- Originated and closed over $90 million in transactions during the last nine months of 1999, and increasing an average of 7 percent per year thereafter;
- Managed the South Florida Capital Markets Group, which consisted of a three-person origination team in three separate offices (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Boca Raton);
- Oversaw production from the Small Loan Conduit Program, featuring loans between $500,000 to $2.5 million and handled by a junior producer;

Employed as a property tax agent, regional manager, and business originator with the South Florida office of a national property tax consulting organization; geographic territory of responsibility included 12 counties throughout southern Florida.
- Reduced commercial real estate and personal property assessments via: 1) informal negotiations with the Property Appraiser’s Office in each county, and; 2) attendance at formal Value Adjustment Board Hearings of Record;
- Performed consultative services for clients concerning the viability of assessment reductions;
- Conducted due diligence with regard to tax ramifications associated with the acquisition/disposition of property; Developed and serviced new business throughout the South Florida territory, and maintained relationships with the assessing authorities located within that territory;

- ACQUISITION/DUE DILIGENCE SPECIALIST FOR RESIDENTIAL TAX CREDIT DEVELOPER – Rendered site/property selection and acquisition services for an affordable multifamily housing developer. Solicited commercial real estate brokers nationwide for developable vacant land and existing apartments suitable for renovation; conducted in-house feasibility studies, market analyses, and pre-development/construction due diligence on properties under consideration for purchase; negotiated purchase contracts, and; completed the appropriate state applications required for receiving tax credit awards.

- SENIOR COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE APPRAISER - Appraised over $200 million in commercial real estate. Produced market value appraisals and market studies on: vacant land; industrial properties; office buildings; shopping centers; residential subdivisions; multifamily projects; environmentally-sensitive and agricultural lands, and; going concern/special-purpose properties. Also performed feasibility/highest and best use studies; ad valorem property tax analyses; cash flow analyses; absorption studies; site selection services; and portfolio reviews. Obtained the MAI (Member, Appraisal Institute) and CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designations.
