Dr. Dave McKeown graduated from the University of Illinois with degrees in Biology, Psychology and Veterinary Medicine. In his thirty years of experience as a clinical veterinarian he has: been a partner at a Veterinary Economics “Hospital of the Year” facility, start up of two hospitals, CEO of his own company and Medical Director for a multi-hospital management corporation. He has worked with site selection, zoning boards, environmental impact statements, hospital and radiological licensing, staffing and HR issues. He is thoroughly familiar with the valuation, acquisition and sale of veterinary practices.

Following his tenure as Medical Director he became the Project Manager for a CVM-FDA contractor analyzing and coding Adverse Drug Experience’s (ADE) to veterinary pharmaceuticals.
