Greg brings 25 years of experience in the assessment, development, marketing and sales of value-added nutrition and medical food products gained at Abbott Nutrition (Abbott Laboratories), the Marriott Corporation (Healthcare Division), Nurture, Inc. and the Natural Marketing Institute.

At Abbott Nutrition Greg held a progressive series of senior management positions in marketing, business development, R&D and sales. He developed the product differentiation strategy for the adult nutrition disease management portfolio leading to over $100 million in revenue over 5-year LRP.

With responsibilities for sales, marketing, regulatory affairs and clinical R&D at Nurture, Inc. , Greg launched OatVantage® (concentrated oat beta-glucan) in the US and negotiated exclusive licensing agreements for the EU and Japan.

In a consulting capacity Greg has managed projects in the areas of nutraceuticals/dietary supplements, functional foods/beverages, medical foods, pharmaceuticals and sustainable energy. His client portfolio includes such companies as Dr. Pepper/Snapple, PepsiCo, P&G, Scripps Institute, USDA, Enzymatic Therapy, Solae, DuPont, Kemin Health, Reliant Energy and the Battelle Institute.

Greg received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Georgia State University to become a Registered Dietitian and further pursued a Master’s of Science in Health Services Administration at Central Michigan University.

As a member of the Nutraceuticals World Editorial Advisory Board, Greg also serves as the contributing editor for its Business Insights column.

Greg has authored and conducted over 100 publications and seminars for US and International forums such as the American Dietetic Association (FNCE), IFT, HI-Maps (India), American Association of Aging, American Healthcare Association, Natural Products Expo and Supply Side.
