Gregory Torfs, CEO & Founder of Negotiae has more than 15 years of experience within Sales Management and Business Development within the international Telecommunications & IT industry. Gregory has managed large teams in corporations with revenues in excess of $13 billion. Gregory formed and led commercial activity through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes within Europe, USA & more significantly in the Asia Pacific region.

Among his significant previous positions, Gregory served as an interim manager in diverse turnaround projects, as well as Systems Practice Country Manager for Belgium & Luxemburg at Sun Microsystems, Inc. and at TeliaSonera International Carrier Services, as Sales Director for the Asia Pacific region.

With a strong cultural awareness and client commitment Gregory worked as a as a leading consultant in strategic planning for various private companies, including development of mission statements, clarification of objectives, coordination of sales & marketing teams, achieving sales performance and downsizing implementation plans, while improving overall staff morale and client confidence.

Gregory is an active member within the Flanders & Belgium-China Chambers of Commerce, while hosting many start up forums for international business development within Belgium. He is fluent in several European languages, and able to conduct business in Dutch, English, French & Italian. He is currently adding Mandarin & Hindi to his linguistic portfolio.

Gregory is married, has a daughter and lives in the Antwerp suburbs with extended family in UK, China, India, East Africa and Italy.
