Managed $40 million transportation and warehouse operation as CEO and member of BOD, focused primarily on the consumer electronics industry, with over 700, 00 square feet of warehouse operations in Southern California and Hawaii, and LTL and truckload divisions servicing 18 states in the Pacific Northwest, Southwest, Southeast, and Hawaii.

Merger and Aqusition combined and merged 7 operating units with an acquired carrier, Quast Transfer, to create Vitran Express, a $155 million unit. The merger required a complete reconstruction of all carrier systems including sales and marketing, fleet configuration and maintenance systems, and the service center network which was redesigned to improve local service, intercity transit times and reduce linehaul miles. During this period the company continued reducing cost and improving productivity in every function. The US operation was also connected to the Canadian during the process.

In 2001 founded ***** & Associates as advisor to a number of transportation companies in the area of Merger and Aqusitions, Business "turnarounds" and startups, Executive Search and Consulting. Client list includes, Landstar, UTI, FedEx, Con-Way Inc, and The California Truck Association.

Previous experience includes Executive positions as EVP of LTL and TL Sales, EVP of LTL and TL Operations in companies between $600 and $900 million. Also CEO at Con-Way Western Express.
