Expert Profile
With more than 10 years of experience in the Construction Industry in contracts and project management, I have wide-ranging experience in overseeing all contract activities with moderate to high risk, reviewing solicitations and preparing responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications, preparing requests for proposals and analyzes contract requirements, special/particular provisions, terms and conditions, drafting and negotiating contractual instruments and communicates contract policies and practices to internal business teams and ensures contract review, approval and execution in accordance with corporate business unit guidelines.
I have been also extensively involved in preparation, submission and defending construction contract claims/arbitration cases (time extension claims, escalation claims, termination claims, forensic time impact analysis, and expert witness) on behalf of various contractors/subcontractors/employers and various types-of contracts (all types and versions of FIDIC and Bespoke contracts in the Saudi, UAE and Qatar areas).
With a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the American University of Beirut, I am also a member of AACE International (Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP)), the Soceity of Construction Law (SCL), International Chamber of Commerce, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Lebanese Association of Chartered Surveyors and the Order of Engineers and Architects.
I was elected as the Program Director of AACE International Lebanon Chapter, Region 7 for the year ***** .
I was nominated by “International Who’s Who for Professionals” to be the VIP member of Lebanon for the year 2010.
