Teaching, training and coaching
• Experienced, qualified teacher of ICT to A-Level, Business Studies to BTEC National Diploma level, French, English and History to GCSE level.

Management
• Managed the Education Team at Waste Management, Cumbria County Council, meeting Key Performance Indicators every year. Responsible for fleet of 5 vehicles and a team of Waste Prevention Officers
• Managed delivery of The R-Factor, a competition for all primary schools in Cumbria, with budget in excess of £200, 00, including individual workshops for over 130 schools, a radio and newspaper media campaign, online and SMS text voting, and a “Grand Finale” event at Rheged, Cumbria – winning “Best Public Sector Campaign” at the Green Awards 2009, finalist at Valpak awards and LARAC 2009
• Managed Cross-curricular ICT in 3 Specialist secondary schools.
• Managed a team of volunteer Special Constables
• Board of Directors, North Regional Examination Board

Behavioural Change
• Managed public engagement campaign in Barrow in conjunction with change to waste collection service for 39, 00 households. Successful in reducing Barrow’s waste to landfill by 4, 00 tonnes, winning national award for “Best Communications campaign” at LARAC 2009
• Wrote first Strategy for Carbon Reduction in Cumbrian Schools.
• Doubled the number of Cumbrian schools engaged with Eco-schools Award scheme, 6-fold increase in number of top-level Green Flag schools

Technical
• ICT-literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Sharepoint and Tridion CMS, sound knowledge of Content Management Systems and Open Source software education solutions. Set up own web server. Implemented computer networks (Apple and PC) in schools. Specialist in E-Learning.
• French language speaker.
• Good working knowledge of Waste regulations, especially Controlled Waste Regulations Schedule 2. Wrote Cumbria’s submission to DEFRA Review of Controlled Waste Regulations
