Behavioural Change
• Managed public engagement campaign in Barrow in conjunction with change to waste collection service for 39, 00 households. Successful in reducing Barrow’s waste to landfill by 4, 00 tonnes, winning national award for “Best Communications campaign” at LARAC 2009
• Wrote first Strategy for Carbon Reduction in Cumbrian Schools.
• Doubled the number of Cumbrian schools engaged with Eco-schools Award scheme, 6-fold increase in number of top-level Green Flag schools
Technical
• ICT-literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Sharepoint and Tridion CMS, sound knowledge of Content Management Systems and Open Source software education solutions. Set up own web server. Implemented computer networks (Apple and PC) in schools. Specialist in E-Learning.
