I have started my career in the Travel Technology business and more specially in the gifted GDS business (global Distribution System) learning from the bottom: tech support, then fare specialist and trainer, Sales and Sales Manager France at 23 years old. I sold the first IBE's, API, Cruise booking Systems later (Amadeus Cruise) in France with Worldspan. My business development skills and foreign languages capabilities directed me to look after emerging markets and up sell project for Amadeus Cruise booking systems in Sophia Antipolis technology hub in France.
After this adventure I was recruited to participate in the creation and launch of the first activities, events and transfers booking engine. This ancillary revenue booking platform for airlines and GDS actually is plugged to Amadeus, Iberia, Finnair, Loyalty Travel and much more and currently being sold. We had an office in Holland and the US and I have been participating in the creation and launch of the company.
Ancillary revenues for B2C websites lead me to develop business in Europe, providing content marketing services, SEO, SEM, Localization for the Hospitality Industry and general online advertizing agency. Content online is now a very key element of marketing strategy and this was the vision that I share with my current CEO Brice J Bay.
I started to work in the tourism Industry I was 19 years old, I am now 32 and I have learned a lot about travel technologies,Internet booking engines and API's / GDS industry, Cruise technologies and markets and now, I am focusing most my energy and attention on providing online Marketing, Social Media, Localization, SEO and Video marketing services to European B2C and B2B companies thanks to the great successes achieved in the US.
I leave in the south of France, travel a lot in conferences to visit or be a speaker in various industry specific conferences and Tradeshows. Ancillary revenue expert for PhocusWright (phone interview) - UNAIRA started as a 3 month consulting mission to recruit key product providers in Europe and manage Amadeus relationship. Since I have had a few proposals from City Guide content retailers in France and US based companies willing to grow business in Europe.
Amadeus Cruise experience also started as a 6 month consulting contract. I was recruited by head hunters from Volt International and got my contract renewed 2 times until I decided to join the Unaira start up adventure.
