My professional engagement at the base of the pyramid markets is of over five years. I have earned a Master degree in Public Policy and hold an Advanced programme in Public Policy Improvement offered by the ADB and EPoD at the Harvard University.
At present I work as a consultant . Earlier I were part of a geographically distinct and culturally diverse global team at the Microfinance Information Exchange Inc (MIX) – A Washington, DC based premier Not-For-Profit microfinance analysis and business research organization founded by the Consultative Group to Assist Poor (the World Bank). I am designated as Social Performance Analyst and my portfolio includes microfinance institutions across Asia and the Eastern European countries. My role play involves MFI research, data collection, Analysis and social performance capacity building of MFIs, Networks and other stakeholders across Asia and the Eastern Europe. In the past, I have been associated with companies like ***** , State Bank of India, HDFC Bank Ltd etc. In ***** (a branchless and mobile banking entity), I worked as Manager of International Business & Strategy. My role play at ***** was assisting top management of the company in the areas of corporate planning, Innovation incubation, Product and Policy research, Relationship management with international, multilateral stakeholders like the World Bank CGAP, IFC, Gates Foundation iNGOs etc
In SBI and HDFC Banks I were part of rural business teams where I have worked extensively in micro and rural credit appraisal and agriculture finance domain. In addition, I have also handled independent short duration projects at some of the reputed organizations in development sector like APMAS , CRISP, Centre for Policy Research New Delhi, Manveeya Holdings, Financials Pvt. Ltd (OIKO Credit) and Centre for Civil Society New Delhi
My research work includes published research papers and presentations in various conferences, magazines, seminars etc.
