I would like to briefly introduce myself as a senior operations leader, practiced in several industries and in companies large and small. For the last 18 years, I have been with Sealed Air Corporation, most recently sitting on the Corporate Supply Chain and Shrink Packaging Division Management Teams with responsibility for global manufacturing and supply chain operations.

At Sealed Air, Supply Chain is foremost Manufacturing, but incorporates Customer Service, Purchasing and Logistics – everything from order inception through delivery. It also includes the support functions of Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, Sales & Operations Planning, Engineering and World Class Manufacturing (where Sealed Air deploys its Lean 6-Sigma program).

Much of my career has been dedicated to assessing business conditions, setting practical strategies and tactics for adding value, rationalizing products and resources as required, and building and leading efficient operating teams to deliver our objectives. In addition to my recent Manufacturing and Supply Chain role, a few of my interesting leadership responsibilities have included:

• Site selection and expansion programs (registered engineer and general contractor);
• Business acquisition and integration;
• Graphic arts and printing business strategy and operations;
• Global manufacturing strategy; and
• New product development and commercialization.

In the process of these, I have had the privilege of working and living around the world, and have gained firsthand experience of global cultures and business practices.

Presently, I am pursuing entrepreneurial interests, and performing operations consulting and hands-on operational leadership for a limited group of clients.
