Jeff ***** is the Head Coach of ***** ***** ***** and has an excellent background as an age group, high school, national and collegiate swimmer and coach. He began ***** at age 11 for the Stratford , CT YMCA. He was a National Age Group and Junior Olympic record holder, competed in the U. S. Olympic Trials and was a finalist at several U. S. Nationals for the Lakewood (CA) Aquatic ***** under coach Jim Montrella. Jeff was a high school All-American. In college, Jeff swam for the legendary James E. ‘Doc’ Counsilman at Indiana University and was a member of the Big 10 and NCAA championship teams at IU. He earned a BS in Kinesiology from Indiana and a Master’s degree in Physical Education from Ball State University . Jeff was a graduate assistant at both IU and Ball State .



Jeff took his coaching career to the UniversityofNorthern Iowa , Cedar Falls as the Men’s ***** Coach and adjunct professor in Physical Education. He was the founder and head coach of Hawkeye Masters ***** – the Iowa State Champions. He was a member of the Executive Committee of the College ***** Coaches Association of America.



As a Division Director/Coach with the Mission Viejo Nadadores, Jeff coached swimmers to SCS Age Group and Junior Olympics titles, SCS and National Top 10 achievements. He has placed swimmers on the Pacific Quad Team, had representatives in the SCS Swim Festival the past seven years and the North American Age Group Challenge Cup team for four years.




In addition to his ***** ***** responsibilities, Coach ***** is the Girl’s and Boy’s ***** and Diving coach at Mission Viejo High School . In his nine years at Mission, the teams have won the CIF-SS Division I championship five times, have been South Coast League champions 10 times, had 156 All-Americans, numerous OC Register All-County and LA Times All-Star swimmers and the Orange County Swimmers of the Year in 2003 - Larsen Jensen, 2006 & 2007 - John Criste and 2010 – Jon Daniec. Coach ***** was the Los Angeles Times’ ***** Coach of the Year in 2002, the California Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2004, NHSADCA National Coach of the Year Finalist 2007, OC Register Coach of the Year 2008.
