About the Principal:
Has been in the pharmaceutical industry for greater than 20 years and served in a senior management capacity most recently at an Israeli medical device company. Was responsible for building and leading the US division, growing the US infrastructure, developing thought leader relationships, conducting advisory board meetings, setting the US strategy, working closely with key Israeli functions that supported the US, and reporting directly to the CEO in Israel and the Board of Directors. Previously, served in a senior management positions at a specialty biopharma company including: head of Business Development and Alliance Management, Vice President of Sales, and VP of Decision Support. Led the sales force during its IPO and successfully launched its lead product to the urology and endocrinology community. Subsequent to heading the sales force, responsible for identifying in-licensing opportunities, managing both domestic and international partnerships and determining the US strategy for an-licensed delivery platform technology. Conducted numerous marketplace and competitive product assessments, projected revenue forecasts, assessed project NPV, led due diligence and licensing negotiations, headed joint steering committees, conducted marketing research. Actively managed domestic, Canadian and European partnerships and did an EU marketplace assessment.
Earlier in his career, led a mid-size pharma region of nine district managers and 90+ sales representatives. Attained yearly sales goals across diverse therapeutic classes, developed numerous new district managers and led a cross functional team charged with designing the Sales Compensation Plan. Built a cohesive and productive management team while leading the region. Earlier at mid-size, was responsible for creating a start-up district in which he hired and trained a district that became national district of the year and was also the top performing district in the northeast region for six successive years.
Also was part of pharma company Career Development Program, and field management member of a brand team responsible for a joint co-promote launch of a triptan product.
Named Regional Director of the Year and District Manager of the Year on two occasions.
Has a B. S. in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a MBA from St. Joseph’s University.
