John brings over twenty years of finance, accounting, operations, strategic planning and management experience in various areas to HMMC; his most recent expertise includes all areas of strategic business plan development, including merger & acquisition, accounting, operations, sales and marketing for the recently launched Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club (www.akresidenceclub.com) luxury destination club. In addition, his experience includes private residence clubs, hotels and resorts. He is also responsible for sourcing over $165 million in various funding transactions for luxury real estate development clients.

He began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young in 1989, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of multi-million dollar audit engagements. From there, he spent nine years with Divi Resorts, a Caribbean hotel and timeshare company overseeing the accounting & finance departments at the corporate level and accounting and operations on the island property level.

John received his B.S. in Accounting from Ithaca College in New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a licensed real estate broker.
