JohnS. is currently VP Business development and shareholder of a shipping line agency, current representatives for a major shipping line in Central America, as well as owners and operators of logistics and transportation facilities throughout Central America. Johns arrived to Central America over 15 years ago as operations manager for the company and has been instrumental in the company’s growth from a small local shipping line agency, focused on one service, to the largest regional logistics provider in the region. Today the company provides international and regional logistics services through their own offices, warehouses and trucking for the Central American region.

JohnS has over 27 years of experience in shipping and logistics is a graduate of the California Maritime Academy with a further MBA, Johns is USNR Lt Commander retired. Johns has been on the American Chamber of Commerce’s (AMCHAM) board of directors for over five years is currently vice president and has also been on the board of directors of Colegio Maya as well as a local IICL maintenance and repair company. John’s extensive experience takes in all aspects of the shipping industry including, container vessel, Roro and break bulk vessel, operational planning and supervision as well as international ocean marine terminal design and management. His experience includes International freight forwarding, NVOCC, cargo consolidation services, warehousing and inland transportation management design and services, vessel chartering and heavy lift operations.
