I worked for PPG Industries at their Glass Research Laoratory for over 10 years, and 30 years in glass process (plant) development at their Crestline plant. I have about 12 US patents (and several non-US patents) in the area of glass grinding, drilling, bending and tempering. My patent for glass pressing is used throughout the world tp make automotive glass. (My 1970's ear patent is the basis for most automotive glass drilling equipment in worldwide use) I currently fuse glass as a hobby.
