Position – Senior Associate / Advisor, for Management Systems International (MSI) Worldwide

Services Rendered: Served as a team member in the assessment of the African Global Competiveness Initiative. This included a review of AGCI’s ability to meet its primary objectives to improve export competitiveness of Sub Sahara Africa enterprises, expand African trade with the U.S. and other international trading partners, the implementation of better trade-led economic policies and increasing the capacity for African firms to compete in the global marketplace.

Services Rendered: - Participated in a series of Free Trade Agreement Seminars in Bahrain, Oman, Jordan and Morocco. Maximize trade with the USA through presentation and individual consulting sessions on US Standards and methods of business for private and public sector organizations and provide targeted information for the companies to allowing them to take advantage of the FTAs and to conduct bi-directional business with firms in the United States.

Position Director, Private Sector Competitiveness – USAID, Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. Prime ($20 mil. Program, Four Year, and Multi-location).

Services Rendered: The Kosovo Private Enterprise Program is a four year program designed to stimulate Kosovo’s economy by increasing the competitiveness of private businesses by working across multiple industry sectors that have the significant growth potential. The program is intended to improve the quality and efficiency of locally produced goods and services; increase the number of jobs and revenue across the sectors; attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and increase exports. As Director of Competitiveness identified key growth sectors, developed the strategies, work plans, secured local and international experts across multi sectors, including: Construction, ICT, Wood Processing, Forestry, Tourism, Recycling, Metal Fabrication, Auto Parts, and Decorative Stones.

Services Rendered: Served to plan, designed, implement, staff and manage the private sector development segment of the $300,000,000 program. I dentified, developed and worked with Afghan businesses, professional associations and the public sector (with emphasis on construction, ICT and professional service firms), to develop their ability to build management, technical and vocational competencies to enable revenue growth in the goods and services offered.
