I have a rich experience in the pharmaceuticals field of about 29 years in logistics, purchase, and international business including sourcing of materials globally as well as marketing of formulations across Africa. I have successfully headed pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Africa, the last assignment being for the United Nations Development Programme wherein I had turned around a loss making pharmaceutical manufacturing company in West Africa. Earlier I was Director of Procurement for a large pharmaceutical company responsible for the procurement of local and domestic materials for pharmaceutical products manufacturing. During the past year I have been associated with a UK company engaged in the supply of materials for the pharmaceuticals industry. My responsibilities were the procurement of materials of Indian manufacture for the clients in Africa.
