I started in hospitality and that is exactly how I approach life and work. I strive to exceed expectations and fulfill needs in everything I do. I spent most of college working in restaurants doing everything from serving and training to expediting and even dish-washing. I earned my BBA in Food Marketing. My major provided me with experience in consumer level reporting, sales/market analysis, category management, and logistics. After a brief stint marketing for a turkey producer I started in sales for a beer and wine wholesaler who represents over 4200 SKUs and also imports products at the national level. After about a year I transitioned into a variety of supportive roles. Over the next 2 years I supported an average of 300+ breweries and wineries, 46 sales reps, 6 district managers, 4 brand managers and over 20 distributors in other states all at one time, as well as dabbled in website management, event planning, custom point of sale design and execution, import ordering, inventory management and general office support. I currently support the sales team of a leading craft brewery. I also recently passed my Entry-Level Sommelier exam and am currently studying to earn my Cicerone Beer Server certification.
