Kwame ***** is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mining & Nuclear Engineering at ***** University of ***** & Technology ( ***** S&T). He holds a PhD from the University of ***** -Rolla (now ***** S&T). He has 9 years of research and industry experience in various capacities. Dr. ***** has extensive experience in modeling and simulation of discrete and dynamic systems in mining. His current research interests include simulation of mining (including aggregate) systems, mining equipment performance evaluation, earthmoving equipment-formation interactions, and sustainable mining systems. He teaches surface mine planning, environmental aspects of mining and mine surveying classes to undergraduates. He also teaches optimization applications in mining and computer applications in mining to graduate students. He has worked in surface gold mining and aggregate operations.
