•Biomedical Engineer Vancouver Island Health Authority
• Facilitated identification of innovative medical equipment for new, alternative patient treatments with physicians and nurses.
• Undertook equipment trials and evaluations to assess the feasibility and efficacy of adding new medical equipment to grow existing departmental services.
• Prepare request for proposals and budgetary applications that outlined the hospital’s needs for purchasing initiatives. Coordinated in-house trials at hospitals across Vancouver Island.
