Dr ***** has over 30 years o ***** in research, executive management, and as a consultant to companies and investment firms in the ***** ***** s sector. In April 2004, he founded Merrion Pharmaceuticals plc (IEX: MERR), an international specialty pharmaceutical company with operations in Ireland and the US. He served as Merrion’s CEO until early in 2008 and continues to serve the company as a director. From September 1999 to March 2004, Dr. ***** served as vice president of ***** and technology at Pappas Ventures, a ***** ***** s venture development company in RTP, North Carolina. Previously, he owned and operated Pharmaceutical Consulting Services, advising the biopharmaceutical industry in drug development and drug safety. Prior to this ( ***** ) he was vice president, drug development at Parke Davis, where he was responsible for global anti-infective and oncology product development. Dr. ***** also held numerous scientific and managerial positions in the toxicology laboratories of The Dow Chemical Company and Parke Davis. Dr. ***** received a B. A. in English from St. John Fisher College and a Ph. D. in Toxicology from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
