Michael is a highly experienced Cambridge(UK)-based clean-energy consultant & entrepreneur. Michael consults independently for a number of UK fuel cell companies and public sector organisations and is a director of PV start-up, Polysolar ltd. From ***** , Michael created and led the "Energy Futures" team at business consultancy Scientific Generics (now Sagentia), and established it as one of Europe's leading fuel cell & renewables consultancies.
Michael left Sagentia to found CMR Fuel Cells plc, the UK developer of direct methanol fuel cells for consumer electronics, a "Global Technology Pioneer 2006", "Red Herring Top 100" company & "Carbon Trust Innovator of the Year" 2005. For eight years he was head of development of advanced ceramics for fuel cells and superconductors at Cookson Group in Oxford and New York, and has also worked for the Welding Institute and for the Halcrow Group.
