Biomaterials engineer, with experience in biomaterial design, characterization and cell-biomaterial interaction. Main area of expertise is in designing scaffolds and hydrogels with drug delivery capabilities to be used in regenerative medicine.

For my Master's work, I worked on electrospinning collagen nanofibers and crosslinking them using a novel crosslinking composition using genipin. Currently, my PhD work is focused on hydrogel fabrication associated with a drug delivery system to be used in Spinal Cord Injuries
