Mirko ***** is the owner of a consulting firm ***** consulting and engineering services, which specialises in the field of railway signalling, safety and telecommunications. Previously, he was acting as a Senior Advisor for the International Union of Railways. He is an Electrical Engineer with more than 10 years of professional experience in the area of signalling and telecommunications systems for the railways. He has been active in international and EC funded projects, and has experience from all project stages. He has working experience in preparing tendering documents with technical specifications for the railway signalling and telecommunications sector (Euro-Interlocking, FIDIC). He possesses an extended knowledge of signalling systems of European railways. He is thoroughly involved in international harmonisation of rules and standards.
