I received a DVM from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), a Master in Food Microbiology (focus on meat safety) from Kansas State University, and a PhD in Food Microbiology (focus on fresh produce safety) from the University of Georgia. I'm also Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. I also received a Certificate in Codex Alimentarius from Michigan State University.
Since I completed my PhD on December 2008, I have been working as Research Assistant Professor at Georgetown University.
