o Ramped and successfully managed the IP Quality Assurance team, a global function in Central RnD department of Infineon reporting to Senior Management in India and Germany. This team comprised of experienced engineers with charter for the level-2 and level-3 testing of all IP components (Cells/Memories/Efuses/IOs) across all technologies and platforms to ensure ‘zero-defect’ implementations in the products.

o Started the Library Application Engineering team across various Infineon products (GSM Baseband ICs, Automotive ICs, Chipcards, ADSL/VDSL, WLAN etc) mainly on the interface solutions domain. The main task in this role is to provide a first level support to various teams for using various IO’s in the design. As a mission, we worked to optimize the area and cost for the product by using proper interfaces. This in turn requires coming up with the best set of interfaces required by the product and then checking whether to do some new internal development or incase easily available outside from external IP vendor or simply make or buy decisions.
o Project Lead – IO Design: Team Size: 2-6
o Managed, designed and delivered complex IO design projects ranging from FS-USB with battery charger detector, LVDS(1Gbps), PCI, LvTTL, Xtal Oscillators(32kHz), Automatic level control oscillators(MHz), SSTL(MobilRam), Bandgaps, opamps etc. and general purpose IO’s like CMOS, LvTTL etc in technologies spreading from 180nm to 40nm with customer teams spread across Europe/US/APAC regions. Solutions were part of Infineon’s flagship products for ULC Baseband platform.
