I am a biostatistician providing methodological, analytical and statistical support in the field of health care research.

My functional areas have included facilitation of medical-dental collaborative research, multi-center provider profiling, dental utilization and costs analysis, and dental treatments and outcomes assessment. My work has focused on extensive complicated SQL querying leading to application of statistical methods for skewed and over-dispersed data, missing data, mixed-effect models, longitudinal - survival joint models, propensity scores and estimation of lifetime cost models. I am also interested in network analysis, methods of image analysis and applications of statistical decision theory to evaluate benefit plans and treatment pricing strategy for cost effectiveness with subjective assessments of health outcomes. One future goal is to develop new longitudinal models to account for temporal patterns in multistate progression of diseases while assessing the overall utility of cost trajectory.
