Expert Profile
I completed my B. S. in chemical engineering from a very highly rated school in Pennsylvania. After completing my B. S. , I pursued my PhD in chemical engineering at another highly rated engineering school in Pennsylvania where I worked with an up and coming young professor. We worked on creating polymer electrolyt membranes for the direct methanol fuel cell with the goal of increasing selectivity. In this case, selectivity was increased by decreasing methanol crossover while maintaining a high proton conductivity. While in school, I learned a large variety or polymer characterization techniques. After graduation I began work in a much different area - polymer compounds. My background in polymers made me a good fit for this position and has expanded my horizons in the field of polymers. Professionally, I am also on the board of the local chapter of SPE (Society of ***** Engineers).
