Since the mid 90’s, I’ve been working in the GEO-IT field. Started as programmer in ESRI and ERDAS applications, I am currently managing large GEO-IT projects such as implementing web-based GIS solutions for several municipalities. In between I’ve been responsible for account management and sales of GIS services and software. GIS is all about integrating data in order to achieve new information and new insight. In this, the quality of data, the responsibility for this quality and the storage of data are crucial. So, implementing a GIS is much more then just installing software. In general, I’m used to taking initiative, setting stimulating goals and achieving them.
