A Post graduate with first class in Applied Geology, I am a highly competent exploration geologist with experience in Geological, Geophysical, Geochemical mapping, surveys and exploration, detailed mineral exploration (drilling), bore-hole geochemistry and ground water exploration. I have also taken up geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations and landform mapping and terrain analysis as part of my service. Many of my work assignments were in thickly forested and remote areas of Western Ghats, Eastern Ghats and the forests of North Eastern India. After about twenty years of field assignments in various states of India, I was assigned administrative duties which included planning, programming budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of many survey and exploration programmes. My administrative duties also included logistics and human resource management. I am a stickler of rules and regulations, principles and human values, integrity and believe in competent management of programmes with a combination of team work and technology. I am also conscious of work schedules and financial constraints and controls. I have excelled in achieving targeted goals within the time schedules and allocated budgets and successfully completed all my assignments. The numerous professional reports submitted by me are a proof of my competence and knowledge. As part of my assignment, I have also worked as a guest lecturer in the then newly established Marine Geology Division of Department of Marine Sciences and many of my students work as professionals in the Geological Survey of India, which is a proof of my capabilities as a teacher and trainer and establishes my credentials as one who can work at different professional levels with ease and competence.
