Patrick Lohlein is an independent advisor on strategic business planning, marketing and public affairs in China and Southeast Asia.
Having lived and worked in the region since 1992, he is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Standard Thai, with a diverse career covering business development, project and general management in the media, education, medical and public policy sectors, as well as strategy consulting for companies, government agencies and non-profit organisations in Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the UAE.
Based in the UK since 2008, he was Head of Marketing for Intelligence Research Ltd, a London-based publishing company specialising in the analysis of political, security and economic affairs in Asia and Latin America, before going on to establish Go East Consulting in July 2009.
