• Design Simplification by reducing the child parts and making the assembly process simple with Engineering and Supplier support. ( reduced Door handles child part from 9 to 3, simplified design of Door seal Weather-strips)
• Identification of New Local and Global suppliers
• Audit at Supplier end on supplier capacity and capability along with Vendor rating, Vendor PPAP, APQP, FMEA
• Bench Marking with global and Existing products so has to commonise the parts and as effective cost reduction technique
• Update and Maintenance of cost Book tracking the complete BOM of Nano
• PLM Activities for the Small car like Project planning, Supplier set up at Vendor Park for 53 vendors starting for Land Area, Power, water etc with Inclusive of product costing.

Lead and coordinate the New / Face lift programs till launch coordinating BOM, Engineering investments, cost book update, Program Budget maintenance, Localization content and Single point contact for Regional Platform programs.

• Lead New Programs, Create and Publish Product Definition Letters, BOM preparation, BOM validation, Program budget control, Engineering Investments, AVBOM control, Engineering Add-Del list, Feasibility study, Vehicle program plan that define the Feature and Engineering assumptions for the total vehicle
• Lead Program steering team meetings for program progress review and critical issues resolution
• Lead for Local Engineering Budget and Head-count for OPD and New Programs
• Product Development Deliverables for every milestone of the Program ensuring compliance of ***** Corporate Product Development Process by each and every function
• Regional campaign prevent specialist taking care of history failures and warranty claims through Fresh Eyes review
• Product development Engineering role for New / OPD programs with system based documents and Engineering changes
• Identifying critical path and implement effective monitoring and control activities to ensure achievement of timing, quality, and cost targets.
• Accentuate critical and major issues in the program and drive them for resolution
• Administer and manage e-documentation of confidential information for the complete program
