Experienced stem cell biologist possessing academic knowledge and corporate experience, having held leadership positions within biopharmaceutical companies based on stem cell technologies. Seventeen years post PhD experience (Ph. D. and experience acquired in the USA) in molecular neurobiology, including thirteen years experience in stem cell biology spanning neural, mesenchymal and embryonic stem cell culture and manipulations. Interests and abilities in basic and translational research include modeling of novel signaling pathways relevant to complex human diseases in in vitro stem cell platforms, expression microarray analysis, assay development, configuring novel culture paradigms, and selected pre-clinical animal models. Management responsibilities include heading research groups (academic and corporate) and leading newly created programs in linear and matrix organizational systems.
