With 14-years in media winning seven national-international awards and honours, I am currently consulting on multiple projects related to development communication, corporate communication & PR and broadcasting.

Prior to consultancy, I completed with honours my assignment with Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010 Organising Committee (OC, CWG) and worked there for a year. The Games were covered by 2000 plus global media and working at the OC, CWG, I was responsible for critical deliverables in Press Operations functional area. In my role as Deputy Venue Administrator of the Main Press Centre (MPC), I was responsible for its planning and execution as well. As key communicator, I addressed Chefs De Missions (heads of sporting mission of 71 Commonwealth countries) at the Chefs De Missions Seminar and officials upto the level of the cabinet secretariat as well as various ministerial task force(s). Before the excitement of this Indian mega event drove me to work for the Games, my work in media has been recognised from local to global platforms.

For my previous organisation, Zee News as series producer for the channel’s flagship programme on public and policy affairs, I won a double award at New York Festival. As reporter-producer-director for another programme on HIV/AIDS, I won the EU-India Media Award and won a global shortlist in top six programmes worldwide at the Association of International Broadcasting, London Awards. My special report on mountain warfare training was screened in 35 countries by the Indian Army. Before Zee, I worked with miditech (one of the finest TV software company in Asia), producing for a wide range of local to global channels, including BBC World.

I am a British Chevening Scholar, a Fellow of The 21st Century Trust of London and a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar of Austria. Hands-on with editorial and management also, my skill-set ranges from ideation to execution, networking & negotiating, strategic communication, need-gap analysis and cross-functional project management across markets, cultures and locations. Confident of tackling challenging assignments worldwide, my credentials are supported by referees who are acclaimed across continents.
