Raphael ***** is the SR. HR Business Partner for Coca-Cola Consolidated, the second largest bottler in the Coca-Cola system. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership and enterprise-wide direction and support for the company’s Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics and Technical Services functions. He is the former Vice President for ***** where he was responsible for business development, strategic planning, and client relationship management. He also led the firm’s Human Resources Advisory consulting practice (HRAP) that provided strategic solutions for complex business challenges such as, Recruiting and Staffing strategies, Succession Planning, Leadership and Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion Training, Executive Coaching and Team Development. Raphael also served as Director of Urban Initiatives for the Cherenson Group, an advertising and public relations firm, where he provided subject matter expertise, project leadership and direction in event planning for key Diversity projects and urban initiatives.
Prior to joining ***** he was a Regional Director for the insurance division of Citigroup, His roles included leading operations and administrative functions, Strategic Planning, supporting the Merger & Acquisition Integration Team, Business Process Improvement initiatives, Change Management, Leadership and Talent Development and Community Relations. He also supported the company’s development and execution of their Diversity and Ethnic Marketing initiatives. In his illustrious career, he gained significant progressive leadership experience from high profile companies like GE, Sara Lee’s Coach Leatherware and Dun & Bradstreet. Raphael earned his degree at Cornell University where he was both a successful student and athlete.
He is a professional speaker who has appeared on segments of the FOX News’ Good Day show, CNBC, ***** BC, NJ News 12, New York 1 and ABC’s Good Morning America. He has addressed groups and organizations like the National Black MBA Assoc. , Human Capital Institute, Kennedy Information Group, The Conference Board, NY Times, and the Society of Human Resource Managers. He has also been featured in the Wall St. Journal, NY Times, Miami Herald, Chicago Sun Times, Black Enterprises and the 2005 edition of the Insiders Guide to Finding a Job: Expert Advice from Americas Top Employers and Recruiters.
A champion in the community, he has served as NJ Chapter President for the National Black MBA Association, Vice President of Hispanics in Information Technology and Telecommunications, Vice President of Latinos in Information Science and Technology. He served as a Vice President of the NY Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR). He served on the National Board of Directors for Human Capital Institute. He was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for I Love Our Youth, Inc. , a NYC based youth life skills and athletic development program. He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Urban League of Central Carolinas. He has worked diligently to support fund raising initiatives for the Harlem YMCA, Siskey YMCA and the Girl Talk Foundation, Inc. He is also a CYO and AAU basketball coach and clinic instructor. He has received numerous community service awards including being honored by the NBA’s NY Knicks and NJ Nets, as an Outstanding African American Professional for his significant achievements in business and his tireless efforts and impact in the community.
