My roles and responsibilities are as follow
Strategizing solutions from network performance & customer complaints perspective
Analysis/Validation of various performance reports.
Root cause analysis of all performance affecting critical/recurring faults and recommend actions on the UMTS RAN.
Identify areas of improvements in day to day activities in the network

Also as an experienced NSN RAN specialist i am involved in various other activities

New SW and Feature studies.
Evaluating various Radio Network parameters and auditing them.
Making various process, rocedures and checklist for ongoing activities and known issues.
Periodic risk assessment of network operations from quality imperatives

Involved in troubleshooting/ support and competence transfer for ongoing activities in the T-Mobile Network ( HSPA+ roll outs , Ongoing O&M activities in UMTS RAN).
S/W and H/W upgrade, support and troubleshooting, implementing technical notes, installation of licensees for various features.
• Making progress reports daily and weekly.
• Performing FOA testing, SAT test cases and trial for various new features
• Making Checklists, Verifying procedures for implementation of RN 2. 1 and other activities in the network.
• Involved in streamlining of the network , made new macros and scripts for the automation of day to day task and improvised over existing processes
• Analyzing logs of Nethawk Analyzer for RRC(3GPP TS 25. 331), RANAP (3GPP TS 25. 413), NBAP(3GPP TS 25. 433) and RNSAP(3GPP TS 25. 423) protocol messages) and internal logs
• Training and Mentoring Engineers in Nokia RNC O&M
