TectoniCorp, PC / ***** Engineering's founding principal, Richard J. *****, P.E., P.P., is a 1979 graduate of ***** University's Civil Engineering program with minor studies in Architecture and Urban Planning. He holds Professional Engineering licenses in CO, CT, DE, NJ, NY, PA and VA. His professional experience has included projects in these states along with the States of CA, SC and TX and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Mr. ***** brings over 30 years of engineering expertise to bear on a wide variety of projects.

Solar Expertise:

Mr. ***** has prepared Commercial and Power Plant PV System Layouts, Structural and Electrical Designs and Site Plan Designs for over 16 MW DC of solar projects. Additionally, he performs structural, seismic and wind / snow loading analyses for rooftop, parking canopy or ground mount installations. His electrical designs span the range from LV systems through power plant scale MV systems, including the design of transformers, switchgear and MV power interconnections.

Building Design Experience:

Mr. ***** owned a 35 person A/E firm for over 20 years and was involved on both a managerial and technical level with the firm’s projects. He has been involved in the design of many facilities, including both new and rehabilitated buildings. As part of this experience, he has spent considerable time examining facilities for conformance with various structural, electrical, energy, safety and code standards. His work has involved preparation and oversight of planning, structural, electrical and mechanical, architectural designs for new and upgraded buildings, structures and facilities. Much of his former firm’s work was for the DOD (Army and Navy) on a wide range of projects, many of which were adaptive re-use / rehab projects.

Planning and Zoning Board Experience:

Mr. ***** has been personally responsible for the site design of over 10.5 million s.f. of warehouse and office space, over 450,000 s.f. of commercial / retail space, and over 7,000 residential units. Mr. ***** has extensive experience in testifying before Planning Boards, Boards of Adjustment, State and Local Agencies and Court. He has appeared many times before municipal Planning and Zoning Boards in over 45 different municipalities.

Mr. ***** has extensive experience in presenting evidence to State and Local Agencies and Court, both as a Professional Engineer and Planner.
