Dr Rob ***** is a founding partner of ***** LLP, specializing in computational aspects of drug discovery and development and in drug target identification and evaluation. He was a founding member of Cambridge Biotechnology Ltd (CBT) in 2001. He was Head of IT and informatics throughout his time with the company; he was also Head of Biology ( ***** ) and Head of Target Identification ( ***** ). In addition he was Chair of the Biovitrum Informatics Board from ***** . Prior to founding CBT, he set up and ran the bioinformatics at group at Parke-Davis/Pfizer in Cambridge UK. From ***** he was a post-doctoral research associate at the Sanger Centre where he successfully co-led the first genomic sequence analysis–based positional cloning project. Rob holds a first class honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Structural Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge.
