MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
I own a PhD in Applied Physics (Medical Devices) and a business certificate (area: Management of SME’s), also registered 4 patents successfully and wrote documentation for FDA approval for a medical device class 3 product.
I worked as Product Manager & Developer at a Medical Device company ( ***** ) in the field of neuro-stimulation and implant-technology (hearing implants).
I co-founded and grew a technology company to an international level ( ***** ) and was responsible for business development, general management, product marketing and distribution management. I launched all soft- and hardware products on the European Market. The company manufactures and sells motion analysis devices (optical real-time 3D motion capture device, motion analysis software, ultra-thin portable 3D-force plates), which are used in biomechanics, gait analysis and general movement analysis in medicine & rehabilitation, sports, industry, film animation, etc. Our customers were hospitals, physiotherapists, universities, sports facilities, automotive industry and film industry.
In 2011 I moved to the New York City Metropolitan area and started a new business, in which we help technology companies from the US doing business in Europe and vice versa. We help those companies with market-oriented product development, project management, innovation management, product marketing, product launch, market development, networking and finding partners and setting up and running branches abroad.

2. Medel, Product Manager & Developer, *****,*****, Hearing Implants. I developed a so-called Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI) to electro-stimulate the Brainstem to cause hearing sensations. Conducted multi-centrical study and did documentation for FDA-approval.
