Arrange transactions to buy/sell/lease commercial aircraft and jet engines on behalf of either operator or owner/lessors, and to identify aviation assets to buy/sell for own account.

Sourcing and negotiating the purchase/sale/lease of the assets specified by client mandates; Developed strong working relationships with airlines and owner/lessors in order to sell immediate services and further future business relationships.

Specific assignments on retainer basis have included:

1. Started and developed an engine leasing business on behalf of AVTEAM Inc, a public company. This five year contract resulted in an average of more than 15 engines on lease at all times.

Responsibilities included interaction with prospective lessees through negotiation of the lease, engine delivery, lease monitoring, responsibility for lease payments, and assuring lease return conditions being complied with at termination.

2. Sold/leased Jet and Turboprop aircraft on behalf of two public leasing companies (CIS Air Corp and AVTEAM. This six year contract (CIS Air) resulted in numerous sales of off lease assets including jet aircraft, turboprop aircraft, and jet engines. Also accomplished numerous sale/leasebacks of jet aircraft

3. Assisted many airlines on specific asset acquisitions (including Spirit, ValuJet, Air Tran, WestJet, Eastwind, Colgan)

Mohawk Airlines Syracuse, NY

Founder and President

Founded an independent commuter airline which focused on business routes in the Northeast US. Expanded Syracuse hub to serve 16 cities including Washington, Newark, LaGuardia, Boston, Philadelphia, Hartford, White Plains, Albany, Rochester, and Buffalo with a fleet of 10 B-1900’s and Metro III’s and over 350 employees.


Responsibilities included all corporate decisions including start up, planning, finance, FAA oversight, and daily management of 350 employees;

Founded and managed an on demand Air Charter (Part 135) business operating two Navajos in commuter configuration and two Cessna 310’s.
