Prior to founding ***** , Rohit led the establishment of the first-ever public-private partnerships financing agency of the Government of Canada, PPP Canada Inc. where he helped to define the organization’s vision and shaped its inaugural business plan. Previous to this project, Rohit was the Policy Advisor for Economic Affairs in the Office of the Prime Minister. In that role, he was responsible for files and issues pertaining to industry, energy, natural resources, tax policy and infrastructure. Prior to joining the Prime Minister’s Office, Rohit was a senior member with the mergers & acquisitions group of a leading Canadian investment bank for seven years where he worked on many infrastructure mandates. Rohit also worked as a management consultant with a leading multinational strategic consulting firm based in the United States and with the Bank of Canada where he co-authored numerous papers pertaining to monetary policy and its effect on the economy. Rohit holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with Distinction and was awarded the Henry Morgenthau Jr. Fellowship for public policy. He also holds a Hon. Bachelor of Arts, Economics degree from the University of Western Ontario.
