Samar ***** , MD, FACR, currently is a Consultant in Rheumatology & Immunology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Massachusetts, since 2006. He is an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Harvard University and adjunct faculty at Boston University. Brigham and Women's Hospital, a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, has an internationally recognized Orthopedic and Arthritis Center of Excellence. This Center is a leader in the research and management of orthopedic and musculo-skeletal conditions. Dr. ***** has research interests in novel biologic therapies in Lupus, Gout, and other connective tissue diseases. He has published widely on auto-immune disorders in peer-reviewed international journals like The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, and Arthritis & Rheumatism. As a Section Chief, he supervises Rheumatology research, teaching, and clinical care. In addition, he is a subject matter Expert for national and regional policy issues.
