I was responsible for 25, 00 square foot warehouse with the assistance of a Third Party logistics provider with next day delivery to Maine to Virginia to Ohio. My main purpose was to ship contractor supply and related items direct to customers and 139 individual branches throughout the Northeastern region. Other duties included development of company wide stocking policies, Inventory optimization, reverse logistics, vendor rebate policies, market intelligence, vendor relations, product and service branding, and catalog improvements. Skills acquired include: Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), budgeting, Sales Forecasting, Vendor Negotiating, Transportation Optimization, and Trend Analysis.
Results
• I developed and maintained a diverse $10. 5 M inventory consisting of 9200 SKU’s from 120 vendors, while controlling ***** rns, profitability, and loss.

Penn Forklift was the regions first Komatsu and Mustang/Gehl dealer, but they also sold and serviced a very large variety of other material handling equipment such as TCM, Toyota, Cat, Clark, Prime Mover, and Moffet Mounty.

• I reorganized and redirected a large, problem-ridden parts inventory and found new avenues for revenue, and increased parts revenue from $75K per quarter to $150K
• I instrumental in the implementation of integrated ordering process to reduce costs by 25%.
• Developed a min-max system to make service truck inventories more effective reducing holding costs of obsolete inventory.
